Meet Brittany

Brittany Zilka, 29, of Creighton, Pa was diagnosed April 5th with a highly aggressive form of uterine cancer, Uterine Carcinosarcoma. The reason it is so agressive is because it's 2 different cancers of the uterus at once and microscopic moving. This form of cancer is usually seen in women age 60+. Women in their 40's-60's can get it but its rare. And women in their 20's-40's can get it, BUT.......it is extremely extremely rare!!!!!(better chance winning the lottery)
Now....since she is so young and has been diagnosed with this form the doctors are going to be very agressive with treatment and fast working.
Reason being..1: Her age, and 2: Because if/when this type metastasis it is undetectable by any scan since it's microscopic - and if/when it becomes detected that means the tumor is already big in size and that's bad news for whatever arear it is in. Brittany was told saving her eggs was too risky a procedure at this point. There is an experimental procedure that is available out of pocket, which Brittany could not afford. She made the decision to have all her reproductive organs removed along with lymph nodes at the advice of her doctors. Please help show your love and support to Brittany as she fights this battle. We love you Brit!!

No amount is to small. Thank you all so very much!
